~ This will be a website in her Memory and what we as a family can do to help change areas in which our legal system has shown us that her death and the death/& or destruction of other's is insignificant to them. Justice has not prevailed, with this arranged plea bargain, even though he did plead guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter.
Please check back as this will be ongoing in updating and configuring. It's a website Miranda had purchased for her businesses she was developing. They never came to fruitation. The domain name, mirandadaly.com was paid for in early 2007 for a ten year period, which indicated she did expect to live out her dreams and was indeed working toward her goals, and add to the acheviements she had already accomplished by the age of 22 years. She died 23 days after her 23rd birthday.
Having her life taken, has devasted our family and many friends who she loved and cherished more than anyone could possibly. Yet, the most important of this entire ordeal for us is not as important as the fact that she lost her liberty, life and pursuit of happiness. She so deserved more. She did deserve some justice as she paid dearly with her life.
More links, and photos, and information to follow very soon... please continue with us in our fight for:
Justice For Miranda! and for others who may be unfortunate to follow in similar situation's, which can definitely be avoided through education and understanding, and changes to our current laws.
~ I was told in the beginning, that in California, no one has any obligation to another person's life, according to CA State Law, unless you are within the definitions they have created for such laws. And that disregard to human life and liberty is okay, as long as it fits within these multitudes of 'definitions' determined to encompass humanity ~
as for PREVENTING OTHERS FROM GIVING LIFE SAVING MEASURES? WELL, I think there is a law against this. Called Gross Indifference to Human Life, Total Disregard to Human Life. Negligent Homicide. Perpetrated INTENTIONALLY. NOTHING HE DID DURING THIS WEEKEND ENDING HER LIFE WAS ANYTHING LESS THAN VOLUNTARY. WILLFUL. MALICIOUS. MALIGNANT HEART OF HEARTS - yet, the lawyers always find the fine little loopholes to get by with dismissing a murder trial - apparently insignificant enough to prosecute to fullest extent. Which we as a family were promised that they would. They failed Miranda. This man took her life. The system buried her right to life and Justice.
San Bernardino County District Attorneys and Prosecutors want my silence, and acceptance that this is the best they can do. I object very loudly. They do not care. They do not have to care. It is only another case they want rid of.
Soon, I will have the full information. I am adding a little at a time. I will become more and more vocalized of this in full, as each day passes.
This man will not walk free lightly. Nor will the District Attorneys who failed in this case.
