Miranda Diane Daly was born in Glendora, CA on July 20th, 1984.
She lived her life with great success & happiness, for 23 years and 23 days... sadly, she was taken from us on August 12, 2007.
Now, in the arms of our Lord, and her grandmothers', Lady Charli & Georgia, forever, until we are all together again..
As a young child Miranda was always vivacious, spontaneous, giving and loving to everyone. Through all life's triumphs & turmoil she held her head high and forged through with great determination and will. Even as a young child she always knew what she wanted and went for it. In her youth Miranda aspired being a model. Not just any model. She wanted to be a runway model. We went through John Robert Powers to give her an idea of what this would be, and to train and learn. She so loved it. She is a natural for any stage, unfortunately as she learned she was too short [just a mere 5'2" by then],and so she would never be tall enough for runway work. And though JRP associates agreed she would be a wonderful print model, Miranda stood firmly saying no... I want to be runway. If I cannot be a top runway model- I don't want commercials, she said... nor print work. She did get into one job that she enjoyed and oh my what a girl! She was very proud. As I was also. All in all, she told me that since all of this had taken place, she realized the very best that she did and learned from this experience was self confidence. She knew she could do anything she wanted. (Just not anything having height restriction!) We so had the time of our lives doing this, such wonderful memories.
Miranda pursued a career in the cellular industry at the age of 15 years old. During a stop at a retail store for her new phone, the manager saw Miranda's outgoing personality, unique qualities and zest, then invited her to work with them at Execucom Cellular, in Glendora, CA. At the age of 19 years old she started working for Comscape, in Anaheim, CA as a dealer manager for Nextel. Later, she took a another position with Verizon and worked her way up to work for Celluphone at the age of 20 years old as a Dealer Rep.
This was one of Miranda's greatest accomplishments of her life. Miranda went on to become top sales in her department and built so many relationships that helped her grow into other areas in the company. In 2004 Miranda won Captains Club, which is a top honor in Celluphone.
Early in this year of 2007, Miranda decided to create her own business and developed two corporations MDE, Inc and ICCCorp. Her innovative idea for retailing business to business did not come to fruitation, but she was given an opportunity instead to become a District Manager with Celluphone for one of their top clients she had previously been engaged in training their staff. One of her greatest pleasures in her work was teaching all aspects of sales techniques and creating an energy of excitement in her teams, which is why she was so successful in everything she attempted in her career and her in her life. Miranda always said, “You can do anything you set your mind to and never give up.” That's exactly what she did. She was an inspiration to her family, friends and colleagues. Miranda touched many hearts in so many different ways; she always went above and beyond to help anyone. She was a remarkable woman and left such a lasting impression with her beautiful smile, laughter and outstanding personality.
Always ready to party and have fun, whether with family, friends or work related. She planned what she could and always winged the rest. Nothing was ever too much for her, except driving the LA/OC freeways. For those who knew her well, know fully what I mean. Muah!baby...
I have many photos to add to her book, yet even so, know~ they are only a mere token of her life here. Gladly we have many to view and remember certain times, because she will always be at the forefront of our hearts and minds and not one photo can reveal the true quality of this young woman.
